How to join: Just turn up - venue open from 3.45pm. Venue address is: Kennedy Street Recovery (The Hub), Rostrum Lodge, Ditching Road, The Level, Brighton, BN1 4SB. The Hub is a one-storey, white, lodge-style building, opposite the rear of St Peter's Church.

How meetings work

Meetings are at the heart of SAA recovery. Someone acts as secretary, opening meetings with a reflection and readings, giving everyone a chance to introduce themselves by their first names, a chance to hear about the experiences of others and to share stories of recovery.

Although every meeting follows the 12 Steps of our recovery and our Traditions, every meeting is a bit different. Meetings are between 30 and 90 minutes, some have a theme such as women, men, LGBTQ+ or neurodiversity.

Every SAA group is autonomous and neither the SAA UK intergroup nor the International Service Organization of SAA has any authority over them.
