    Message to the newcomer

    Hi there,

You have found a safe place in which to heal yourself from harmful sexual behaviours.

Recovery meetings offer an accepting, non-judgemental environment where we can share our common struggles and learn how to apply some simple principles in our everyday lives.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop addictive sexual behaviours. There are no application forms or registration fees.

We practise strict anonymity and confidentiality, so that our meetings are a safe place for all of us. Whoever we meet and whatever is said in a meeting is confidential and should not be disclosed to anyone else.

    What is SAA?

Being part of SAA means having the choice of setting our own bottom line sexual behaviours. That means choosing what sort of sex we want with ourselves and others and which sort of sex we wish to avoid.

The programme of SAA represents an important addition to any therapeutic initiative in which you may be involved. Fellowship meetings go on every day of the week, all year round, at any time of the day or night and they are free.

We just offer our experience as it seems appropriate and you're free to take it or leave it. It's a simple programme, which is working for us.

    Our programme

Sex Addicts Anonymous SAA is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other in order to find freedom from addictive sexual behaviours and help others recover from sex addiction.

Our programme is based on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous, though we are not affiliated to AA or any other organisation.

You can read about our addiction and our programme here and find out what to expect at your first meeting here.
