CORONA VIRUS - Update

From Saturday 3rd October we will be re commencing our Face to Face Saturday group meetings. We welcome back all our previous group members, and anyone else looking for recovery.

It is essential ALL attendees adhere to Covid rules that apply to our meeting:

Do NOT attend if you are showing any covid symptoms

Two meter rule, and one way system, must be observed at all times

Entry and exit to the church to be made through main front door only

Face coverings to be worn

Any drinks or refreshments brought into the hall must not be shared, and all wrappings and cups must be taken away with you

First name and contact number must be given on arrival for covid notification purposes, should any of the group show symptoms

Attendance will be limited to 15 fellows (this is not likely to be an issue as we usually have 7-9 attendees)

Please join us for our Saturday meeting. Southend is a lively town, and the venue is just off the High Street, and a short walk to the Seafront with it’s numerous coffee shops and restaurants for those who may wish to stay after the meeting for Fellowship. If you wish to come with a partner, there is plenty for them to do while you attend the meeting.

We currently (March 2020) have around 8 regular attendees, and we always welcome anyone who feels the desire to get help.

The venue is ideally located and is:

1 mins walk from Southend Central Rail Station (Basildon 15 mins, Upminster 25 mins, Barking 30 mins, Fenchurch St 50 mins)

6 mins walk from Southend Victoria Rail Station (Rayleigh 12 mins, Sheffield 25 mins, Liverpool St 55 mins, Colchester 60 mins)

For those wishing to drive, Southend is easily accessible via the A13 or A127, and is approx 30 mins from Dartford Crossing. There is Large public car park opposite venue.
